FM foods started as a home based activity in 1997 and became a flourishing industry in 1999. The initial inspiration came from the analysis that there was a huge market gap and that not many wheat based snacks were available in the market. Those which were present did not offer any added incentive to its consumers in terms of variety and taste. The response to the home based products being sold was so overwhelming that this home based activity which started in 1997 became a lucrative industry in the year 1999.
FM Foods started making wheat based snack in different shapes and sizes to attract its most important consumer group – young kids. The wheat based snacks are very popular among children because of their innovative shapes and design and taste.
Since its establishment in 1997, the company has come a long way with its products not only being sold in Pakistan, but they have a huge demand in some parts of Iran and Afghanistan as well.
The company has now expanded its product line into Nimko under the brand name of Miilee which too became an instant hit amongst the consumers. Miilee has a high brand loyalty. The brand name Miilee was registered as Miilee Food Industries in 2012.
The company plans to bring more brands under Miilee.
